Did you ever decide overnight that it was just ‘time’ to change things?
Like that’s it. Move on, and voila?
Or did you give it more time, and finally, after looking at all the possibilities and consequences of your decision, you decided to go forward with said changes?
Well, that’s exactly what happened to me.
Granted, it took me a year or so to move forward in my decision, but once my mind was made up, that was it. I invited the changes and started growing in a different direction.
So, what brought this on?
My love of design and colors….
And most of all, I want to work in a field that is closer to my heart.
It was more like a moment of total realization of how short our time is and how we should make use of our days to the fullest.

I’m a seriously organized individual with expertise in communication and system management, with a passion for WordPress and Commerce Website development.
As a fully bilingual individual, I am proficient in both English and French. I hold a DEC in Social Science / Commerce from Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and have completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) from the Canadian Securities Institute. Subsequently, I worked as a stock brokerage Sales Assistant from August 1990 to September 2000.
From 2001 to 2008, I offered my services as a Senior Executive Administrative Assistant (on a remote basis). In 2007, I established my website development business, chrisjechoux.com, where I offered online business management services. As a total WordPress Nerd, I attended numerous Montreal WordCamp (WordPress) Conferences from 2009 to 2014 – where I furthered my knowledge of this content management system (CMS).
In addition to my work experience background, I also furthered my education by completing several different certifications, including the Project Management program (AEC) and Graphic Design program (AEC) from Collège LaSalle, Montréal.
I also completed the Google Analytics Certification, Google Tag Manager Fundamentals, and Hootsuite Platform Certification. I am also certified as a Social Media & Internet Marketing Consultant by VAClassroon/Freelance University.
In 2008, I was awarded the VAccolade Business Entrepreneur Award by the Virtual Assistant Networking Association (VANA), which as such, recognized my professionalism and web presence.

So Who Am I?
I’m still that Nerd. A Nerd with a big heart, that’s sometimes too honest for her own good…And, I’ve been ‘on the web’ for longer than I care to admit.
On a more personal side, I’m dangerously close to being too organized.
I have no idea what ‘spare’ time is. Honestly. I love what I do with a passion…So it’s never been ‘work’ for me in the usual sense of the word.
I challenge myself daily to better the outcome of my work. I question. I re-write. I push my boundaries and look at each day, as the beginning of a new adventure.
I love life and all that it has to offer…
